The Chattanooga Kennel Club is a non-profit organization established by local dog fanciers in 1934. The membership is primarily comprised of people who own and show purebred dogs.
Our members come from all walks of life and represent a wide variety of breeds. Many club members are actively involved in AKC competition events such as conformation, obedience, and agility trials, spending their weekends at events throughout the USA. Other members have their faithful dog at home and belong to the club to learn more about dogs and for the camaraderie among our members.
The Kennel Club meets on the
second Tuesday of each month at Western Sizzling Steak House,
6021 Relocation Way, Ooltewah,TN. The meeting begins at 7:30 pm. If you wish to have dinner, please arrive early. There is no regular meeting in July and in December. In July we have our annual picnic and in December we have our Christmas/Awards Banquet. We would love to have you join us.
Tuesday, May 10, 2016: Our meeting program will be “Alternative Sports With Dogs” presented by Helen Aiken from the Obedience Club of Chattanooga. Helen has been training dogs since she was a teenager and has participated in both Obedience and Conformation.
